About Finnegan's Farm

A New Generation of Farming

Finnegan’s Farm is the grower, harvester, extractor, formulator, and packager of all your favorite CBD gummies, oils, balms, and beverages from the Northland. Over the years we have collaborated directly with partners such as Bent Paddle Brewing, Granny’s, and Doc Dabs to make quality CBD and THC products just for you.

Every batch is delicately harvested by hand and complete with the essential oils to yield full-spectrum CBD oil. To ensure top quality, we have each crop third-party tested.

Our passion for organic, non-GMO farming practices and growing healthy hemp plants instills our mission to bring people the highest quality CBD products.

Each small batch of CBD oil is crafted and extracted with ice-cold water ensuring a purer extraction than when using butane or CO2 and helps to provide the purest quality of oil.

Shop our products online (coming soon!) or stop into one of our partner retail locations. We love to hear from our consumers, feel free to share your love for Finnegan’s Farm on your favorite social platform!

Locally Grown In Minnesota

Finnegan’s Farm is a family farm based on the shores of Lake Superior in Two Harbors, MN. We have been growing top-quality hemp-derived THC since 2019  focusing on quality over quantity and are the equivalent of craft brewing in the CBD/THC market.

Our owner and farmer Patrick’s love for farming and providing amazing top-quality products directly reflects in our quality. He knows soil health is the key to raising healthy cannabis plants, and uses only organic non-GMO farming methods with soil amendments, excellent compost, and incorporating supplements such as glacial rock dust.

The Farmer

Born and raised on the Iron Range of Minnesota, the owner and head farmer of Finnegan’s Farm, Patrick Finnegan started his career right out of high school as a professional hockey player playing in countries around the world. From his time spent in Italy, Canada, and the Netherlands, Patrick didn’t realize what impact his global travels would have on the rest of his life.

While living in these amazing countries, Patrick’s love and curiosity grew for each unique culture intrigued by how the people lived and their love of food. Not only the taste, but the passion they had for local, fresh, and healthy options.

During his time in the Netherlands,  Patrick worked in greenhouses and learned an appreciation for the craft of farming. As he started to dream of his life after hockey, he knew one day he would embark on another career and started to save every penny knowing he wanted to reside back in northern Minnesota.

In 2006 Patrick returned to the US and purchased 31 acres of raw land just off Lake Superior in Two Harbors, Minnesota. With help of family and friends, he chipped away clearing the land, prepped for a building site, created an organic farm field, and eventually built his first greenhouse which became Finnegan’s Farm.

To start enriching the soil, Patrick first grew microgreens and other local produce for Duluth area co-ops and restaurants. After experimenting with his first hemp crop in 2019, he knew growing craft hemp for CBD oil would become a major component of his passion and business.
